SENSEX , NIFTY SNAP FIVE-DAY WINNING STREAK,NIFTY HOLDS 8,150

Markets snapped five-day winning streak, amid a volatile trading session, The S&P BSE Sensex ended down 58 points at 26,668 and the Nifty50 settled 18 points lower at 8,160. Technically the indices still look to be part of a longer term uptrend .Tata Motors climbed 7.7% to Rs.453 on BSE. The company posted a net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of profit of associates of Rs.51,770.60 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 as compared to Rs.17,165 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2015. Tree House Education and Accessories Ltd stock was lower by 15% at Rs.60. Report says that Morgan Stanley Asia sold 2 lakh shares of the company. Nava Bharat Ventures surged 11% to end at Rs 182 after its net profit more than doubled to Rs 58 crore for the quarter ended March 2016 (Q4FY16) against Rs 24 crore in a year ago quarter.Rolta India slumped 7.4% to Rs.72.50 on BSE. Standard & Poor’s lowered its long-term corporate credit rating on Rolta India Ltd reported profit after tax for Q4 FY-16 at Rs.59.21cr against Rs. 46.87 cr in Q3 FY-16,registering a Q-o-Q growth of 26.3%.
GLOBAL MARKET:
Asian stocks mostly higher; Nikkei up 0.5%,Asia trades mixed, Nikkei up 0.7%, Shanghai down 0.4%. On the global front, Asian stock market closed on a mixed note. In China, the Shanghai Composite index closed higher by 3.2%, while Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index and Nikkei 225 ended 1% higher respectively. In Europe, The FTSE 100 was trading lower by 0.14%. DAX and the CAC 40 are trading marginally down. The rupee was trading down 1 paise at 67.17 per US dollar.

NIFTY AT 8-MONTH HIGH,ENDS ABOVE 8,150

The Indian market beat the Monday blues, with the Nifty closing the day at an 8-month high of 8,179. The benchmark indices rallied more than 5% last week driven by better than expected Q4 earnings season, an above normal monsoon forecast by both IMD & Skymet, relatively stable global environment and consistent FII inflows. BSE Sensex increased 72 points to 26725.60 and the Nifty rose 21.85 points to 8178.50.Muthoot Finance rallied by 9% at Rs.233.The company  posted a net profit of Rs. 2652.213 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 as compared to Rs. 1651.858 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2015. Tree House Education and Accessories Ltd stock was lower by 7% at Rs.72.The net profit stood at Rs.6.78 crore, while revenue from operations was at Rs.209.33 crore, for FY16. India's largest real estate firm DLF has reported a 23% drop in its consolidated net profit at Rs.132 crore for the quarter ended March 2016, compared to a net profit of Rs.172 crore, in the same quarter last year. DLF Ltd is currently trading at Rs. 127.3, down by Rs. 1.7 or 1.32% from its previous closing of Rs. 129 on the BSE.
GLOBAL MARKET
Globally markets were mixed. In Asia, Nikkei closed up 1.4 percent while European benchmarks were flat with a positive bias (at 16 hours IST) after investors digested comments from Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen who suggested a rate hike in the next few months is appropriate.

WEEKELY TRADING TIPS FOR STOCK CASH

The BSE Sensex ended with a gain of 289 points at 26,655. The BSE Sensex opened at 26,416 touched an intra-day high of 26,677 and low of 26,405.28.The NSE Nifty closed with a gain of 87 points at 8,156. The NSE Nifty opened at 8,082 hitting a high of 8,164 and low of 8,077 .State Bank of India gained 1.2% to Rs.186 on BSE. The bank will announce its Q4 results today. IIFL estimates the bank’s net profit to decline to Rs.1,517 crore, at a rate of 58% yoy; however, the same is likely to go up 41% qoq.  BPCL Ltd stock rallied by 6% at Rs.978. The company posted a net profit of Rs.25490.80 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 as compared to Rs. 28528.90 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2015. Suven Life Sciences rallied 6% to Rs.222 after the company said its net profit rose 90.52% to Rs.32.29 crore in March quarter against Rs.16.95 crore a year ago.
GLOBAL MARKET
On the global front, Asian stocks edged higher after better-than-expected US economic reports overnight. In China, the Shanghai Composite index closed marginally down, while Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index and Nikkei 225 closed higher by 0.5% each. European markets were trading on a mixed note. The FTSE 100 was trading higher by 0.03%. DAX and the CAC 40 are trading up 0.4% each. The rupee was trading up 16 paise at 67.01 per US dollar.
