MARKET EYEING BUDGET; NIFTY ENDS BELOW 8600

Sensex settled the day at 27,656, down 194 points, while the broader Nifty ended at 8,561, down 71 points. Indices settled the day lower for the second consecutive session with the Nifty ending below 8,600 level after Economic Survey noted that the FY17 GDP growth will dip to 6.5% from 7.6% in FY16. All the IT stocks were trading in red, with TCS dragging the pack, down 4.6%. Tech Mahindra, HCL Tech, Wipro and Infosys, mindtree fell between 2-4.3% on NSE.
GLOBAL MARKET:
Asian shares slipped on Tuesday as stringent curbs on travel to the United States ordered by President Donald Trump brought home to investors that he is serious about carrying out his controversial campaign pledges. European shares steadied in early trading on Tuesday. The pan-European STOXX 600 index was trading 0.08% higher by 0828 GMT, after falling more than 1% in the previous session. It has gained 0.4% so far in January after rising in the previous two straight months.MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan fell 0.5% while Japan's Nikkei dropped 1.7%, its biggest fall in almost three months.

MARKETS ENDED FLAT WITH A NEGATIVE BIAS

Sensex settled the day at 27,849, down 33 points, while the broader Nifty quoted 8,632, down 8 points at close. Snapping four-session long gaining spree, the market on Monday settled lower as sentiment remained cautious ahead of the Union Budget 2017 .Idea Cellular gained 29% to Rs 100 in intra-day trade. The stock ended 26% higher at Rs 98 .Bharti Airtel added 7% to Rs 347.Bharat Electronics hit a new high of Rs 1,624, up 5.5% in intra-day trade after the company reported 33% year on year (YoY) jump in its net profit at Rs 373 crore for the quarter ended December 2016 (Q3FY17), on back of strong operational income.
GLOBAL MARKET:
European stock markets slid on Monday as traders began the week on a sour note. London's benchmark FTSE 100 fell anew, shedding 0.5% to 7,150 points, while Frankfurt's DAX 30 index lost 0.2% to 11,786.31 and the Paris CAC 40 gave up 0.3% to 4,823.50. Asian markets edged lower. MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan lost 0.4% in holiday-thinned trade. Australian shares closed down 0.9%, while New Zealand ended the day 0.7% lower. Japan's Nikkei was down 0.5% for the day as demand for the safe-haven yen weighed on exporters.

WEEKLY STOCK CASH TRADING IDEA FOR 30 JAN 03 FEB 2017

The Sensex ended the day at 27,882, up 174 points, while the broader Nifty settled at 8,641, up 38 points. Benchmark indices settled the day on a higher note, extending gains for the fourth day straight, as investors remain optimistic ahead of the Union Budget next week. Better than expected corporate earnings also aided the sentiment. ITC fell 2.8%
GLOBAL MARKET:
Asian shares were fractionally lower on Friday in holiday-thinned trade but were on track for a solid advance this week, while oil and the dollar retained gains in the wake of strong U.S. corporate earnings. Japan's Nikkei closed up 0.3%, after data showed December core consumer prices fell at the slowest annual pace in nearly a year, suggesting inflation should pick up in coming months.The Nikkei posted a 1.7% gain for the week.

JUBILANT TRADING TIP FOR 27 JAN 2017

the Sensex was trading at 27,699, up 324 points, while the broader Nifty was ruling at 8,599, up 123 points. Biocon Ltd rose as much as 5.21 per cent to its highest since January 12 after posting a 65 percent jump in third-quarter consolidated profit on Tuesday. Housing Development Finance Corp. Indian Overseas Bank and Bharat Financial Inclusion Ltd rose as much as 5.71 per cent and 7.82 per cent. Crompton Greaves Consumer Electronics rallied 8%. Bharti Airtel shed over 4%
GLOBAL MARKET:
World stocks hit a 19-month high on Wednesday, lifted by strong Japanese trade data, stellar European company earnings and hopes that US President Donald Trump will press ahead with a large fiscal spending package. Europe's index of 300 leading shares and Germany's DAX both rose 1% and Britain's FTSE 100 was up 0.7%.Japan's Nikkei advanced 1.4%, buoyed by data showing the country's exports rose for the first time in 15 months in December, a positive sign for the economy even as talk of US protectionism looms over the outlook.
